Form Choice Limiter alternative
Form Choice Limiter by Everest Web Deals has more than 6 million installs and a 4.8 rating. It sets limits inside the add-on, one choice at a time. Audeza Choice Sync keeps choices and limits in a Google Sheet instead. Here's what that changes.

Limits in a sheet
Form Choice Limiter shows each choice with a box for its limit, and has a button to apply one limit to every choice. That works when you set up a form once.
When the list changes every week or every term, a sheet is faster. Paste 40 sessions and their capacities, and the form picks them up at the next sync. Someone else on your team can update the sheet without opening the form or the add-on. And because the limit sits on the same row as the choice, fixing a typo in a session name doesn't reset anything.
Where Form Choice Limiter is ahead
- Scheduled restores. It can bring back every choice hourly, daily, weekly or monthly, which suits a weekly sign-up you reuse. We reopen a place when you delete its response.
- Sharing tools. It makes QR codes and sends the form link by SMS or email. We don't.
- Track record. Hundreds of reviews and a responsive developer, by its reviewers' account. We launched in October 2026.
Both add-ons share one limit: if two people submit in the same moment, both can get the last place. Its listing says a limit of 10 can receive 11 responses on a busy form. Ours behaves the same way, because the gap comes from Google Forms.
Switch in five minutes
- Put your choices in one column of a Google Sheet and their limits in the next column.
- Install Audeza Choice Sync, then open Add-ons (puzzle icon) > Audeza Choice Sync > Open in your form.
- Click Link, pick the question and the column, turn on the limit and pick the limit column. The preview shows the exact choices before you save.
- Turn off Form Choice Limiter for that question. Responses you already have still count toward the limits.

Questions
Do limits reset when I rename a choice?
The limit lives in the sheet row next to the choice, so renaming the choice in the sheet keeps its limit. Responses given under the old name don't count toward the new name, so rename before the form goes out.
Is Audeza Choice Sync free?
Free for 3 linked questions per form with every feature included, with no trial clock. Pro removes the limit for $49 a year or $6 a month.
Can two people get the last place?
Yes, if they submit in the same moment. Form Choice Limiter's listing says the same about itself. Google Forms doesn't lock a choice while someone fills in the form, so any add-on that uses the normal form link has this gap.
Do I get an email when a choice fills up?
No. We email you when a sync fails, so a broken list never goes unnoticed. The run log shows how many choices are used up after each sync.
